Hyperbiotics Pro-15 Advanced Strength Tablets Review

Warning: This post contains information about digestive health and bowel movements. If you cannot deal with reading about these types of things stop reading now.

Today I want to talk about the company Hyperbiotics and their Pro-15 Advanced Strength probiotic tablets.

What are Probiotics?
Probiotics are organisms that are found if food or supplements that help improve the function of your intestines and aid in the digestion of food.

The Hyperbiotics Company
The Hyperbiotics Company was founded by a woman named Jamie after she became sick after traveling to a friends wedding.  The company's goal was to create a probiotic that "ensured that the beneficial flora were alive when the consumer got them and ensuring they will survive the harshness of your stomach acids and colonize where you need them to (in the small and large intestine)".

About The Product
Here is a list of some of the supposed benefits of this product

Solve digestive issues and promote bowel regularity. This product uses Kiwi Extract to promote colon health while helping your probiotics colonize and take up permanent resident in your intestinal tract.
Improve your mood and energy levels. These advanced strength probiotics are supposed to help create a microenviorment inside your digestive system that promotes full mineral absorption to help you fight Fatigue and irritability are often a result of poor vitamin and nutrient absorption
Relieve your sensitive stomach. These pills use time release technology. This keeps all the organisms form being released all at once and causing problems like bloating, gas, or diarrhea.
Weight Loss. The description for this product states that new studies show that gut micro flora may improve your metabolism and accelerate fat loss.
You can find more information and benefits of the product here.

My Results
I have been taking the probiotic pills for 2 weeks now and they have really helped to keep my bowel movements regular. I regularly suffer from constipation even when I drink an adequate amount of water and eat right. I would find myself being constipated often and sometimes going a week without having a bowel movement. If by some chance I did have a bowel movement it would hurt and and I would not produce much of anything. Since I have been taking these pills I have not been constipated at all and I have a good bowel movement at least once everyday. The pills have not caused me to have any stomach pains or bloating. When I first started taking the pills I tended to burp a lot after I took the pill and there is a slight after taste. I solved this problem by drinking more water while taking the pill and it helped. I have been more energetic lately and I have lost some weight which I think is due to the pills getting my constipation under control and helping me feel like getting up and  exercising.  I would recommend that anyone suffering with constipation try these pills. They can be purchased on Amazon using this link.

I received this product for testing purposes through the BrandBacker Program.

InstaNatural Vitamin C Moisturizer and Serum Review

Today I want to talk to you about a company called InstaNatural and their Vitamin C moisturizer and serum.

What is InstaNatural?

InstaNatural is a company that offers a range of beauty products that focus on using natural and organic ingredients. They offer skincare as well as body and hair care products. You can check out their website using this link.

Information About the Vitamin C Moisturizer

The first product I received to try was InstaNatural's Youth Express Vitamin C Moisturizer. This moisturizer is supposed to contain a blend of supercharged antioxidants and other powerful ingredients that help you achieve youthful-looking skin and ingredients in this product are supposed to work to repair existing, damaged skin and restore a healthier, even skin tone. This product contains Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Plant Stem Cells.

Information About the Vitamin C Serum

The second product I received was the vitamin C serum. The serum is supposed to provides instant hydration to the skin, help fight against aging, shrink pores, evening out your skin tone, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This product contains Vitamin E and age fighting ingredients like Organic Rosehip Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Plant Stem Cells, Carrot Seed Oil, Pomegranate and more to boost you skin tone and look.

My results from the product

I used both products together for 10 days. I have dry skin which some parts that are very acne prone. I also have some discoloration on both of my cheeks. After 10 days I can say that both products have worked really well on the dry areas of my skin. I can also see a slight difference in the discoloration and my face does look a little brighter. A few days before I started using these products I had a small acne breakout. Even though these products are not branded to help acne, I wanted to see if this product did anything to help fight my acne so I cleaned my face with my usual acne product but switched my acne moisturizer for the Vitamin C moisturizer. I did this for 4 days and found that while the products did not help my acne they did not make it worse either. After the 4th day I decided to use both of the Instanatural products with my acne products (I mixed a little of the moisturizer and serum with my acne blemish treatment). This worked well for me and after a few days my acne breakout was gone.

Tips for using these products
  • Cleanse and tone skin first. It is always best to work with a clean face to avoid product build up
  • If you are using the Vitamin C serum in conjunction with the moisturizer, use the serum first. The first day I used these products I use the moisturizer first and then the serum. Doing it this way I found that my face felt sticky
  • Don't use the serum alone. I recommend using the serum with a moisturizer because like I said it may leave your face feeling sticky.
  • Use the products twice a day for the best results
  • If you suffer from acne be sure to use your complete acne system in conjunction with the moisturizer and serum to avoid breakouts

My Final Thoughts

Overall I was really happy with my 10 day results. The products seem to be working well for my dry patches and my skin discoloration. It also works well together with my acne products. These products seem promising and if my results are still good after I use up both products I plan to purchase them.

Munchpak December 2014

After a bit of a delay with shipping (which was totally my fault and was handled very quickly by the guys over at Munchpak) I received my very first Munchpak in the mail a few days ago.

What is Munchpak?

Munchpak is a monthly subscription box service that offers snacks from around the world. You can get and original munchpak with 12+ snacks for $21 plus shipping a month or a family size with 22+ for $39 plus shipping. All snacks are full size. Munchpak currently ships to the USA, Canada, UK, Belgium, Ireland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Monaco, San Marino, Australia, Bangladesh, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong SAR China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau SAR China, Malaysia, Mexico, Micronesia, New Zealand, Palau, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

What was in My Munchpak?
I had 12 snacks in my Munchpak and none of them were things I had never heard of or tried before which I was really happy about.

Cheetos Homeados Bolitas Mas Producto. These are a product of Mexico. To me these tasted kind of like the jalapeno Cheetos that we have here in the U.S but not as hot. I liked them alot.

Dora 3 Croissant with custard cocoa filling. This product originates from Italy. I really liked this but my only complaint is that there was not enough custard filling for me.

Delicje Cherry Flavored Biscuits.  This is a product of Europe. It is a soft biscuit with cherry flavored jelly covered with a layer of chocolate. These were also really good.

Bronhi Original Toffee with herb extracts. This is a product of Croatia. It is a soft candy mad with toffee and herbs. I personally didn't like it but my mom and aunt did so they didn't go to waste.

Pure sour and fruity gummy candy in the flavor grape. This is a product of Japan. They were just ther right combination of sour and sweet.

Nestle Lion bar. I'm not sure where his is from. It is a peanut butter wafer covered in caramel then covered by crisp cereal and chocolate. I really liked this as well.

A Guava roll. I'm not sure where this is from either. It is a gummy roll which I assume is guava flavored. I was not a fan of this at all but it wasn't the worst thing in my Munchpak.

Animal Kingdom chocolate bar. This is another product of Croatia. It just a simple chocolate bar but it was really good.

Solen Crazy Extra bar. This product is made in Turkey. It is a milk chocolate coated wafer with crispy rice. I think this was my favorite thing in my Munchpak.

e. frutti Gummi Pizza. I think this is a German product. It was just small gummy pizza slices. I liked it.

BubuLubu candy bar. This is a product of Mexico. It is strawberry flavored jelly and marshmallow covered in chocolate. This was very tasty too.

Some kind of Japanese rice crackers. I didn't get a picture of these because once I tasted one I immediately threw them away. I did not like these at all. They were worst than the guava roll.

And finally we have an unmarked gummy bear. It was also good.

Was it Worth it?
Overall I liked my first Munchpak. It had a wide variety of snacks and the fact that non of them were from the U.S was a big plus to me. Even with the two snacks that I did not like, I enjoyed my first Munchpak and I plan on continuing  my subscription.

Whats in my Box
This is the Tasting Box
Pitted Green Olives by Olympos. I personally despise olives so I gave them to my aunt. She really enjoyed these.

Hazelnut Spread by Nocciolata. This was really tasty. To me it tasted like Nutella but more gourmet.

Cookie Chips by Hannah Max. These were also really good. They were crunchy but not to hard and sweet but not to sweet. Everything about these were just perfect.

Espresso Candies by Bali's Best. I'm also not a fan of coffee or espresso so I also gave these to my aunt. She liked these a lot too. She said they did taste like espresso but not so much that it was like eating a cup of espresso.

Chocolate Honey Mints by Honey Acres.  These tasted like peppermint patties with a drop of honey. They are gluten free so that' a plus in my book. Good thing they only sent 2 because I could have eaten 20 of these.

Dark Chocolate Coconut by Next By Nature. The best way I can describe them is as a deconstructed mounds bar.

Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels by Liddabit Sweets. These were good but the sea salt was a bit much for me.

Kettle Corn by Oogies. These were great. They were just the right amount of sweet.

Was This Box Worth It
Overall I was very happy with this box. Every thing was delicious. You get to try different healthy snacks and many of these snacks are things I have never heard of or tried. I think this box was well worth it and I plan on continuing my subscription.

Swaag Box December 2014 (T.O.M. Box)

Here we have the next subscription box that was on my list of boxes to try out. This is the Swaag box Swaag Box has changed its name to TomBox. It is a T.O.M box (for those who don't know T.O.M stands for time of the month). When I ordered this box there was a promotion to get your first box for only $2. I opted to  double the makeup and jewelry for $6 extra so I ended up getting this box for $8. The $2 promotion has now ended but you can use this link to try your first box for only $5. This bx is regularly $16 a month plus $6 it you want to double the makeup and jewelry. You can add a 4 pack of Gillette Venus Razors for $12.

What's in the box?
I got 11 items in my box.

2. Wet and Wild Fast Dry Nail Polish in the color Penny For Your Thoughts
Retail Value: $2.99

3. Maybelline Color Sensational Whisper Lip Stick in the color 305 Red Around Town
Retail Value: $5.99
This color does go on red. My dad lighting just makes it look orange :(

4. L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche leGloss in the color  681 The Muse's Shine
Retail Value: $5.99

5. Prestige Liquid Glitter Eyeliner in the color Eclipse
Retail Value: $5.99
I was very disappointed to find that this product was dried out

Retail Value: $4.99

7. Prestige Eyeliner Pencil in Black
Retail Value: $4.99

8. Wet and wild Mega Shield Lipstick in the color Pink Champagne and Bonus Lip gloss in Crystal Clear
Retail Value: $4.99

9. 2 pairs of Chandelier Earrings
Retail Value: $19.95 each

10. Assorted candy

Is this box worth it?
For $8 this box the box pretty much payed for it self with one pair of earrings. The dried eyeliner was a bit of a let down and if I was paying full price for the box I think I would be more upset. Overall I really liked everything in this box and I will probably continue to subscribe to Swaag Box just to see if the dried up makeup was a one time thing or not. At $5 for the first box I wold recommend everyone to try it for themselves.

Mystery Chocolate Box December 2014 Review

I have recently been wanting to try out more subscription boxes and in my quest for something different I came across a subscription service called Mystery Chocolate Box.
The Cost
You can subscribe to Mystery Chocolate for the following prices:
Monthly- $17.95
3 Months- $50.85
Annual- $191

Ships To
The U.S and Canada

What You Get
Each box contains 3 gourmet mystery chocolate bars, a letter with hints about what each bar might be, instructions on how to do a chocolate box tasting, a card to write down your guesses for each bar, and  a card with nutritional  and allergy info.

This Months Box
 Bar A:
Bar A is described as a candy you might enjoy this time of year, plus a little twist. This bar is from The Madecasse chocolate company (I only know this because its imprinted on the chocolate bar). To me it tastes like dark chocolate with mint flavoring. Kind of like a York's peppermint patty but not exactly.

Bar B:
The description for bar B says "The spices in this bar might be reminiscent of another sweet holiday treat". This chocolate bar it imprinted with the Theo Chocolate Company logo and like Bar A it tastes like dark chocolate and mint.

Bar C:
Bar C is described to taste like a hot drink you would enjoy in front of the fire. There is no brand imprint on this bar. I think this bar is milk chocolate and it has little balls of what I assume to be coconut (coconut is listed as an ingredient on the allergy info card).

Is It Worth It?
In my opinion this box is very much worth it. I honestly believe you cant go wrong with chocolate and each bar in this box was absolutely delicious. As a plus, with each box sent out by Mystery Chocolate Box two meals are donated to help fight world hunger. How can you go wrong with getting to try awesome chocolate while helping fight world hunger at the same time? If you're thinking about trying this subscription but your a little skeptical I definitely recommend trying it. I really loved my first Mystery chocolate box
